Coming out of week 1 KSU looked mediocore for 3 quarters. Colin Klein didnt take a beatn which  is a good thing.  the defense only gave up 9 points also a good thing. We scored 42 points in quarter. We moved up 2 spots in the polls;to 20th nationally.

Things to improve on for this week. more offense at the begining of the game.

During week one nationally the chalk basically won so nothing really helped except ourselves winning. no big upsets.

  1. Hey Ian for future reference on your post. When you are giving a summary of the game give more info on how the defense held there opponent to nine points. Also, explain more on how the offensive line was able to help protect their quarterback. Also, what i mean by giving more info on the game is it will help someone who does not know much about football to understand it better. Also, Make sure you captalize the letters after the period. You did good on this, but i just notice on your sentence you started with the word more you forgot to captalize it. When you were talking about things for KSU to improve on go more into it by saying why they were bad in they could not move the ball in the first half. Also, say what quarter they scored the big number of points. This way someone who did not see the game can know when it happen. I liked the post just make sure you just talk about the game a little more. Look forward to reading more of your post.

  2. Hi Ian, this all seems like a really good start! I would suggest maybe proof reading your post before posting this. I actually have someone else proof read for me because I have read it so many times, I skip over things! Maybe this will help you too!
As someone who does not know very much about (or have time to watch) these games, I would give a little more information. For instance, which 3 quarters did KSU look mediocore? Who is Colin Klein? What quarter were the 42 points scored?
Also, like Brian pointed out, watch your puncuation. Having someone proof read will help with this also!
Looking forward to seeing your blog develope!

  3. Hey Ian! First off, I've got to say that I'm a big KU fan... sorry! But I know that KU is not very good at football, and I'm going to take time to appreciate your blog on KSU football. Who did KSU play during their first game? Maybe you could also add a little more information on the opposing team, and what their odds were of winning the game etc. Also, maybe you could post a link of the game statistics for those who are interested in knowing all the little details of the game. Just some random ideas that popped into my head while reading your blog!!
Can't wait to see how KSU does for the rest of the season.
